Closer to home.
I have been itching to get out and hold a camera this year but have held back because of doctors orders. This morning I just couldn’t stand it any longer and pulled two cameras out and went to photograph my favorite parts of the reservoirs that are just down the road from me.
This little village in just north of New York City has many beautiful areas to visit but the past two years have been filled with photographing and then editing for all night long to get the magazines right.
This morning I didn’t consider how cold it was outside ( 18 degrees) and even with two pairs of gloves on my hands I couldn’t shake how cold the camera felt to hold. I worked quickly and was back at the car when a lovely couple with three dogs were walking towards me. The one thing I can’t seem to get around no matter where I go is my need to always go towards the dogs. It was too cold to get any really good images but I did get a couple of lovely ones of this lovely old girl. No matter what dogs will always be the bringers of joy in my life.
