Daily Dog Devotional’s Tail End of Summer

August as always been a hot month but when I think of August my mind looks forward to welcoming September and the cooler weather. On FB we have asked people to post back end images of the dogs that share their lives for a Tail End of Summer edition and we have received so many images that we are now exiting and slowly putting creating the magazine. It’s a lot of late nights each night that are hard on the eyes but this is the project I decided on putting together and doing with the help of so many friends.
When creating a painting it sometimes takes months of going back and forth on the same painting before getting it completed and its very much the same with creating a magazine but one doesn’t have months to work on them but given periods of time to put it together. The process is one where I have an idea of how I want it to look and flow and then finding a way to make that happen. It’s not easy but its the aim of each magazine. For now we know what the next four magazines theme and covers will be and it’s just gathering stories, images and artists to make it all come together. Thank you all for your participation in this ongoing artistic project about what we all love.
