Town of Kent Police Department K-9

To protect and serve.
Today I was honored to be able to go and photograph the Town of Kent Police Department K-9 units. Often times the images I take of Law Enforcement are very serious but the images I love to take are those that show the joy between these K-9s and their partners.
The commitment and team work is always present- yet when you

show these hard working K-9s a ball or toy and they become big ole mushes that just want to play.

No stronger bond than that between a K-9 officer and his partner.
Strength, courage, love and focus…. and a toy.
